Luke Donald Swing Vision Slow Motion Swing
Luke Donald signed for a final round of
8-under-par 64 and won the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic
by two strokes over Justin Leonard.
Donald opened his round with a pair of birdies
and after sandwiching bogeys with another pair of birdies he made the
turn at 2-under 34, four strokes off the lead. His back nine will be
talked about for a long time. He used laser-like approaches to make
birdies at holes 10 through 14 to take a one-stroke lead. He then
dropped a birdie bomb from 45 feet at the par-3 15th to widen his advantage to two strokes. He parred out to finish at 17-under 271, and
then waited to see if anyone could challenge, but none would. The win is
his second on the PGA TOUR this season and fourth career. He also
claims the Arnold Palmer Award and a five-year exemption as the money
leader.
