Mark Wilson Slow Motion Golf Swing
Mark Wilson carded a final round of 3-under-par 69 and he won by two strokes over a group of three players at the Humana Challenge.
Wilson opened his round with a slow start and his three-stroke advantage melted to a single stroke after he bogeyed the par-3 third hole. He continued to grind out pars and he was soon tied by John Mallinger and Brandt Snedeker. Wilson continued to struggle with pars until he birdied par-5 11th to tie for the lead. He then assumed the lead after he chipped-in from the greenside bunker at the par-3 12th. Wilson was soon tied again by Robert Garrigus and John Mallinger, but the combination of birdie by Wilson at the par-4 16th, with a three-putt bogey by Garrigus at the par-3 17th, gave Wilson a one-stroke lead going into the final hole. Wilson found the green in two at the par-5 final hole and he carded a two-putt birdie to win at nightfall. The victory is the fifth career TOUR title for Wilson and he wins spots in the WGC-Match Play, the WGC-Bridgestone and the PGA Championship.
